The Egyptian Museum

The museum has a one-of-a-kind collection of over 160,000 pieces of Ancient Egyptian history making it one of the greatest museums of the world.

A UNESCO World Heritage site is well known as "the largest concentration of mediaeval architectural marvels in the Islamic world" by the United Nations. Several mosques, sabils, hammams, madrasas, and ancient mansions from Cairo's golden period can be found along Muiz Street. A combo visitor ticket allows you to visit many of these sites.

Coptic Cairo

A section of Old Cairo that has several Coptic churches and other historical sites integral to the city's origin story. It features the Coptic Museum, which holds some of the most significant examples of Coptic art.

Museum of Islamic Art

Founded in 1903, the MIA is one of Cairo's most important museums, with 25 halls containing thousands of artifacts dating from the 7th to the 19th centuries from Egypt, North Africa, Andalusia, the Arabian Peninsula, and Iran. (Website: https://www.miaegypt.org)

Panorama October

The October Panorama, which was built to commemorate Egypt's victory in the October War of 1973 is outfitted with cutting-edge interactive and projection technologies that immerse visitors in Egypt's history of military prowess.

Royal Chariots Museum

The Royal Chariots Museum, the fourth of its kind in the world, exhibits artworks and artifacts alongside its collection of rare Royal horse chariots that belonged to the Alawite family of modern Egypt, which are distinguished by superb craftsmanship and ornate decorating.

Ahl Misr Promenade

Mamsha Ahl Misr, Cairo's newest landmark, is a ​​two-level promenade along the Nile River that brings new dining, entertainment, and shopping experiences to the heart of Cairo.

Gezira Art Center

Art galleries abound on Zamalek Island. The Gezira Art Center, which is housed at the Prince Amru Ibrahim Palaceon the southern side of the island, has been a major contributor to Cairo’s artistic landscape.

Prince Mohamed Ali Palace

Manial Palace and Museum, located on Rhoda Island, boasts stunning architecture in various Islamic styles. The royal residence, which includes historic gardens and a hunting museum, retains a picture of royal life in Egypt at the turn of the twentieth century.

Balloon Theatre

A cornerstone of Cairo's performative and folklore scenes since the 1960s, the Balloon Theatre is the focal point of a cultural complex on the Nile’s west bank that also includes musical venues, Al Ghad Theatre, and the National Circus.

Baron Palace

Heliopolis Basilica

The great edifice of the Latin Cathedral of Our Lady of Heliopolis (Heliopolis Basilica), also designed by Alexandre Marcel, is a unique blend of Byzantine and Egyptian styles. It holds the remains of its financer, Baron Édouard Empain, who founded modern-day Heliopolis in the early twentieth century.
