In celebration of International Women's Day. Adly Mansour train station operated 100% female-led for a full day

The National Council for Women (NCW) participated today in the celebration of the "R.I. Ti. The "B.D. Transport Network" Cairo Network, which is responsible for the management and operation of the metro of the third line of the metro and the LRT light rail "Capital Train", on the occasion of International Women's Day, where the transit station of the light electric train was fully managed by the female component in celebration of International Women's Day.
The National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsy, praised the company's efforts in employing women for the first time in Egypt in new positions, namely station manager, train commander area manager, customer service employees, ticket cashiers, and female employees of the X-ray machine, cleaners.
It is worth mentioning that according to the data of the company that operates the Capital Train, the number of women working in the Capital Train reaches more than 100 women, most of whom are not more than 40 years old, who work in driving trains, occupational safety, customer service, driving stations, control rooms, dealing with the public, selling tickets, and maintenance and cleaning work.
